eSpindle Learning respects and understands the importance of privacy and security for our online customers. Any personal information maintained by eSpindle Learning, including contact information, unique identifier information, transactional and financial information, is used only to maintain their account and to contact consumers for eSpindle Learning related purposes. Upon request, all eSpindle Learning customers can access, verify and change their information in the customer profile, found under the header "you" when logged in.
Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers or e-mail addresses online and check certain settings may receive telephone ore-mail contact from us with information regarding special promotions, new products and services or upcoming events. If at any point you no longer wish to receive information from eSpindle Learning, you can contact us via phone or
e-mail us at info@eSpindle.org and we will remove you from our contact lists. eSpindle Learning will not release, sell, rent, or trade the personal information of any of our customers to any third party.
By subscribing and visiting eSpindle Learning you are accepting the practices described in this Notice.

Children
eSpindle Learning does sell products for children, but it sells them to adults only. If you are under 18, you may sign up for eSpindle Learning only with involvement of a parent or guardian.
Please note that the eSpindle Learning content was developed by concerned parents and educators according to cutting edge research and the standards for legal and social compliance outlined by the California Department of Education. This ensures that your child will find a carefully monitored, balanced and safe learning environment.
By enrolling yourself or someone else as an eSpindle member, you represent and warrant to us that:
- You are eighteen years of age or older, and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement with us;
- the information provided by you during enrollment is complete, accurate and current;
- you will abide by the terms of this Agreement in the same way that we are bound to it.
Enrollments are non-transferable between students.
Terms & fees
The tuition fees and the term of enrollment are specified during the subscription process, and you have various options to choose from. Unless otherwise stated, all Fees are quoted in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for paying the fees for all programs in which you enroll yourself or someone else.
eSpindle Learning warrants its product with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Fees for each 1-year term must be prepaid in full, subject to your right to receive a refund as set forth in the section following below.
Refunds & renewals
You may terminate your enrollment at any time, by clicking on the link provided in your confirmation email, by sending an email to
subscribe@espindle.org, or
by calling 866-eSpindle.
Fees paid will be refunded in relation to the time you used this program, in increments of 1/12
th of the total annual fee.
We will earn the first 1/12 of the annual fee paid as soon as your membership goes into effect.
We will consequently earn another 1/12 th of the annual membership fee as each new month of the term starts.
Please note that promotional discounts/coupons are only in effect for the full annual membership.
Refunds are calculated based on the regular membership fee.
Upon expiration of your term for any program, your enrollment will automatically be renewed if you opted for the self-renewing membership. If you chose the non-renewing membership, you will have to complete the payment process again. We will notify you in advance to avoid any interruption in your program, but to ensure ongoing management of your learning profile, the self-renewing membership is recommended.
What kind of information does eSpindle Learning gather?
Because eSpindle.org is customizing its program to the individual and an ongoing relationship is maintained, we need to gather and use certain information about you.
- Information You Give Us:
We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. This information can be reviewed in your customer profile page.
You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of certain features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing your learning quizzes, maintaining your membership and documening progress. Additionally, contacting our customer service department may create a record regarding the issues you discussed. Any such information is used exclusively to ensure your satisfaction.
- Automatic Information:
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. In addition, your web browser may register and store information in its cache to remember your log-in information etc. We use technology exclusively to make service features operate smoothly. In addition, we encourage you to let your web browser cache various content, so that download time during the quizzes is
reduced.
- E-mail Communications:
To help us make emails more useful and interesting, we often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from us if your computer supports such capabilities. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us, please let us know via your customer profile.
Every email we send you also includes an unsubscribe option.
What About Cookies?
* Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide certain time-saving features and conveniences. Information communicated via cookies is not used for marketing or purposes other than making the experience at eSpindle Learning a pleasant one.
* You can configure your browser not to accept new cookies, or to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie. However, for conveniences like log-in support etc. we recommend that you leave them turned on.
* If you want to sign up for membership through our affiliate partners, it is necessary to have cookies enabled, so that this fact can be communicated to the shopping cart feature.
Is information about your customers shared?
No. Under no circumstances do we share your information with third parties, unless necessary and agreed upon, such as to process membership payments.
Any third party companies or individuals that come in contact with your information - for example to process payments, as eSpindle Learning affiliates, marketing agencies or customer service employees - have only limited access and are bound by contract to use information available to them only to fulfill their specific purposes.
How secure is the information?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input and reveals only the last digits of your credit card numbers when communicating with you via email regarding your membership.
Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing, but this is done according to highest industry standards. We also offer payment via PayPal, which offers another safe and guaranteed way of doing business with us.
Passwords and your account
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Somebody other than yourself using your membership will distort the learning profile eSpindle Learning is creating individually for you. These changes, should you let somebody use your account, can not be reversed, and you would need to start a new subscription and start over to void them.
Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer, since other users may be able to re-enter your account for a few more minutes after leaving the site. A log-out link is available on the site whenever you're logged in.
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. eSpindle Learning and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
How can settings be changed?
eSpindle Learning gives you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions. Please go to the customer profile to review and update your information and preferences. We may keep a copy of the prior settings for our records to avoid future customer service problems.
Promotional Offers
Sometimes we may send announcements of third party offers to our newsletter subscribers.
When we do this, we do not give that organization your name and address, and only promote items that we find represent a real value to our customers.
If you do not want to receive such offers, please unsubscribe to the newsletter in your customer profile or via the link provided in each email.
